RenderStreet for Artists—sponsorship for open movies

Last updated on by .

Open movies have a huge impact for the people in the community: they help improve both the software tools and the personal skills of the artists. Helping to render these movies for free is our way of backing the open source movement and also the Blender community. A new edition of RenderStreet for Artists, our sponsorship program for open movies, just started to roll.

RenderStreet for Artists

Last year, the program had a significant impact on the open productions when we sponsored some awesome movies. Caminandes Gran Dillama, Luke’s Escape and Whole are some of the selected projects from the first edition of the program.

In 2015 we’re bringing a new approach to the program. The call is open on the official https://render.st/artists/ page, and interested artists should apply with their projects directly there. If you decide to apply, please give us as many details as possible, to increase the chances of selecting your project.

The call is open until March 2016. However, the past edition was booked solid a couple of months in advance, so please have this in mind when applying. We will try to include as many projects as possible in the program. There will be a selection of the projects, and all applications will be assessed.

With RenderStreet for Artists we’re supporting the libre software movement, and it’s also a way to say ‘thanks’ to the Blender community for its ongoing support. Please help us spread the news.

Looking forward to see your projects!
