We’re soon celebrating three years since we launched RenderStreet—starting off bootstrapped, running our first years as a startup, and now shifting gears into a growing business and reaching out to new markets. Our evolution has been noticed by Creative Seeds, the national partner of Creative Business Cup initiative, who invited us to represent Romania at this year’s Creative Business Cup competition.
Creative Business Cup is organized by the Center for Cultural and Experience Economy and started as a national competition in Denmark in 2010. In 2012 CBC opened its doors to entrepreneurs from creative industries from around the world.
We accepted the challenge and qualified for the 2015 Copenhagen International Finals taking place in 16-18th of November. Our application also entailed pitching RenderStreet to the jury and explaining our role as a rendering solution in the 3D art industry.
At the finals, we had the pleasure of meeting some special people and the members of the jury among which are Stiven Kerestegian Gandarillas from LEGO, Anniken Fjelberg from 675 Oslo, the largest co-working space for creative industries in Norway, Christopher Lindinger form Ars Electronica Futurelab and Simona Maschi, Director of Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.
The winner of the competition was Blitab, the world’s first braille tablet for the visually impaired, awarded in a ceremony by Prince Joachim of Denmark himself.
