RenderStreet accepted in Microsoft’s BizSpark Plus program

Last updated on by .

I am proud to announce that we have been accepted in the Microsoft’s startup program BizSpark Plus. This is an important achievement for us, and proves the value of our technology and business approach to the rendering market.

We have originally got in touch with the guys at Microsoft after being selected as one of the finalists in the How to Web startup spotlight competition, back in November. At that time, we were just launching the closed beta stage of our business and had a lot of work ahead of us to stabilize our platform and improve performance. We’ve came a log way from then, and we have a stable service now. Having been accepted in the BizSpark program comes for us as a recognition of the potential of our business.

What does BizSpark mean for us? It means access to Microsoft’s software and resources. And it also means extended access to its Azure platform. This is Microsoft’s cloud offering and I am  looking forward to integrating it into our platform. Azure should allow us to have access to instant additional capacity for CPU based rendering and scale our platform better.

In fact, we are currently inviting selected companies and artists to work with us and help stress test our Azure implementation. If you are interested, please get in touch, sending a link to your reel as well.
