We have just released an update to the RenderStreet One subscription payment module. The new version adds the possibility to subscribe using Paypal and AMEX – two features you have been asking for.
The release also unified the payment modules used for adding credits and for subscriptions, so there is now a single payment processor (Braintree) and a single payment interface. You also have more control over the payment methods now, and better visibility into the entire process, with the new ‘Payment Methods’ page from your profile.
The existing subscriptions (both the ones made with Paypal and the ones made through the PayU credit card processor) will not be automatically converted and will continue to run normally. All new subscriptions from this moment on will use the new payment methods.
The accounts that used the trial period for RenderStreet One but did not activate the full subscription yet will have to reconnect their payment method to the new processor. The process can be initiated by simply clicking the ‘Change payment method’ button in the subscription page.
